Mrs. Sammons is a Professional Engineer, and Certified Functional Safety Expert, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. Upon graduating Mrs. Sammons worked for Bailey Controls where she gained project engineering, management, product management, and safety systems experience through her 15 years with ABB-Bailey. In 2005 Mrs. Sammons joined Dupont as a Project Manager where she was introduced to Process Safety and became highly motivated to help create a safer working environment. In 2008 Mrs. Sammons took on the position as a Director of Process Safety for TPC Group managing all aspects of Process Safety, at which time Mrs. Sammons also obtained her PE by examination and her Certified Functional Safety Expert via examination from ISA. In 2013 Mrs. Sammons left TPC to start SSECI where she has developed Process Safety Programs and a team of engineers to deliver turn-key projects that are derived from PHA & LOPA facilitation. Mrs. Sammons has developed complete corporate Process Safety programs global companies that are both fortune 100 & 500 business that operate pipelines, chemical plants, and refineries.
Mr. Sammons has more than 25 years of experience in Control Systems engineering, design, programming, and business management & sales.
Ms. Dixon has more than 30 years as a CPA, is an adjunct professor at Univerity of Houston Clear Lake, and holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
